Going all in with Baptism!

Baptism is the outward expression of an inward transformation. It is seen as the wedding ring of the faith and the way you express to the world that you belong to Jesus! Baptism is a covenant sign, a public declaration of a person's identification with Christ and it symbolizes identification with his death, burial, and resurrection. We are saved by grace through faith, not by grace through faith and something else. Salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus, not by faith and water baptism. We are not saved because we are baptized; we are baptized because we are saved. There is nothing special about the water, and being baptized does not save you… confession Jesus Christ as Lord is what saves you....and when we place Jesus as Lord we begin to do what He says.

Our RhYTHms our monthly series of different media designed to help students grow and stay on the right track! We are our rhythms and what we devote our time to shows what we prioritize. When looking at Jesus’s life, we saw that even He had rhythms. It was a habit for him to wake up early and seek the Father. He prayed, studied scripture, and mediated on it day and night. We long to be like our Savior.
